Schools were the first to feel the impact of COVID-19 in Mozambique. Their closure was just before the first State of Emergency was declared on March 22nd. Save the Children immediately embarked on a reflection marathon to allow classes to continue for children who could not be reached by alternative means indicated by the Government (Internet, radio and television). The NORAD Project, in Manica, outlined, together with the local Government, a strategy that allowed more than five thousand children to continue studying, despite the adversities.
