Mozambique SCiMoz received visit of representatives of the ACERWC
SCI Mozambique Country Office received, today, December, 3rd, a courtesy visit of representatives of the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child (ACERWC).
The visit had the objective of discussing the implementation of the concluding observations and recommendations related to the status of implementation of the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child.
The focus of the discussion was around the progresses and challenges faced by the country in implementing the recommendations, and the role SCIMoz has been played in advancing child rights in the country, especially on (i) Child Protection and Child Trafficking, (ii) Child Participation and Child Rights Governance, (iii) Access to Education, and (iv) Child Marriage.
